SUMMARY:Monarch Blitz
DESCRIPTION:The International Monarch Monitoring Blitz is back for its 1
0th anniversary! From July 31 to Aug. 9\, join the celebration and help
search for monarch butterflies and milkweed plants in your area. Last ye
ar\, over 9\,000 volunteers contributed thousands of observations of mon
arch eggs\, caterpillars\, and adults\, as well as their host plant\, mi
lkweed.\n\nFor ten days each summer\, everyone is encouraged to step out
side and share their observations on one of several data platforms. Scie
ntists use these observations to better understand how to conserve monar
 ch butterfly populations.
