Evergreen Pasture is becoming more than a home—it is becoming a sanctuary for monarch butterflies, native bees, birds, and other wildlife. I pledge to plant more native species, care for existing habitat, participate in Monarch Watch and Journey North, and encourage others to discover the beauty and importance of conservation. Every butterfly that finds food or a place to lay eggs here is a reminder that small actions can make a lasting difference.

I have several acres of wildflowers & normally have quite a few monarchs. I’d love to plant whatever I need to keep them healthy every year. Can you help me with this?

I have been planting flowers around my yard for a few years. Last year I had a grove of sunflowers, I would sit on my deck and watch butterflies, honey bees, bumbles bees, birds and squirrels all feed and pollinate the flowers and seeds. I would love to turn my home into a place nature is welcome to come and live a natural life

I have a pollinator and bird habitat supported by native and ornamental plants located in the Blue Stem neighborhood of the Oklahoma City. I am excited to help Monarchs by providing them with host plants and different nectar plants.

Being able to sit in my yard for a few minutes and watch as several varieties of wildlife take comfort in my yard is healing. I need this natural landscape to resolve old wounds and increase confidence in myself that I am contributing to a bigger cause that I can be genuinely passionate about.

I have loved butterflies from the time I could remember. This is super exciting for me to finally take the step and do what I’m saying finally!
