Organizer: Native Roots Okie
Join Native Roots Okie for a weekly hands-on series running through the end of the school year, designed to help schools create Monarch and wildlife habitats across the state. Educators will learn about Oklahoma wildlife species in decline, the challenges they face, and how to build certified habitats using native plants like milkweed and wildflowers. Participants will collaborate with other educators, explore citizen science opportunities for students, apply for grants to fund projects, and discover creative fundraising ideas to support habitat creation.
Must register to attend. Each Thursday from January 8th – May 21st.
