I taught lessons to 3rd, 4th grade classes about life cycle and migration. We observed the caterpillars and chrysalis. We were able to release 5 butterflies. I brought these caterpillars from my home garden. We are planning a butterfly garden in our school courtyard. The students are very excited about the building of the garden and planting wild flowers and milk weed.
