The Tulsa Zoo is celebrating National Public Gardens day on Saturday, May 12 through Sunday, May 13, 2018, with other local organizations. During this event, guests are invited to check out our gardens while taking part in fun activities. Starting at 1 p.m. enjoy a 1-hour guided garden tour from our horticulture staff. The guided tour will start from the globe, next to a deciduous holly.
Our third annual Pollinator Plant Sale will be happening at the zoo’s gift shop. Pollinators — such as butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees — are extremely important; become part of making Tulsa a Monarch City by purchasing various plants for your garden.
Go on a self-guided safari plant tour of exotic and native vegetation, available on request at Admission and Membership windows.
General zoo admission is required to partake in this event.
