OK Monarch Society LAUNCH PARTY!

Friends, we have a big announcement to make. Okies for Monarchs has officially metamorphosed into our very own 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and you are invited to join us on June 9 from 1-5pm at Anthem Brewing for the Oklahoma Monarch Society LAUNCH PARTY! 🥳 🐛 🦋

Championed by current, former, and new members of our team, this organization is our program’s new and permanent home. Over the past six years, Okies for Monarchs was graciously hosted by our former fiscal agents The Nature Conservancy and the Conservation Coalition of Oklahoma. During that time, our programming grew substantially. By forming a new, independent non-profit to champion and support our volunteers and activities, we have the needed infrastructure to further fund and grow our mission.

We are thrilled and honored to invite you to our launch party and introduce you to our board and committee members, staff and volunteers!

PARTY DETAILS 🎉 Monarch Mystery Boxes and live screenprinting by Rick Sinnet, plant sale from Native Plants and Prairie Wind Nursery, Pollinator Pilsner and monarch merchandise from Anthem Brewing, live critters from OSU Insect Adventure, activities with Science Museum Oklahoma, Oklahoma Native Plant Network, Oklahoma Native Plant Society, Oklahoma County Conservation District, and Oklahoma Department of Transportation Natural Resources Program.

Admission is FREE! Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support our mission to save the monarchs. If (and when) we crush this goal together, you’ll be treated to a performance from Marky Monarch and Lil’ Wing, who have generously agreed to emerge from their retirement chrysalis for one last show-stopping number.
