What is a plant swap: basically, there will be two tables. one for cuttings (rooted or unrooted), and one for potted plants. You will bring either a cutting or a potted plant (or several, there’s no limit) to trade, check them in, they will be placed on the appropriate table, and then you can pick your trade(based off what you’ve brought. trade a potted plant for A potted plant, cutting for a cutting)

There will be a drawing! Whoever wins will win a potted Philodendron Micans. You only need to come to the event and get your ticket to enter the drawing.

There will be a donation bin to place nursery pots, plant pots, soil mix, gardening tools, seeds … whatever you’d like to donate(pertaining to plants)! Dig through it and see if there’s anything you would like. Everyone likes free things, but please don’t be greedy. Allow others to get a couple things, too.

There will probably be a free cuttings table at the event also, no donation required, but everything is appreciated.

This event is going to hopefully be the first of many, so share it with your friends, in plant groups, help get the word out. We are still working out the kinks, so we will likely be updating with more details as time gets closer.
