Looking to learn more about monarchs and share that knowledge with others? The World Wildlife Fund’s Monarch Toolkit is full of free, easy-to-use resources about monarch butterflies, milkweed, habitat creation, and conservation. Whether you're an educator, student, or community member, this toolkit offers downloadable materials you can use in classrooms, outreach, or personal learning.

Milkweed in the Classroom

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever’s Milkweed in the Classroom Program Milkweed in the Classroom is a ready-to-use program from that helps students grow native plants while learning about pollinators. It includes all materials, online training, and science-aligned curriculum—plus opportunities for hands-on conservation and outdoor learning.

Symbolic Monarch Migration

Through Journey North's Symbolic Migration Project, youth can also participate in monarch conservation and protection. Youth decorate paper Symbolic Ambassador Monarch Butterflies that are mailed and distributed to schools near the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve in Central Mexico. Learn more about this program.
