Pollinator Gardens
Pollination Garden Heaven
Pollinator Gardens
In partnership with Norman Parks and Recreation, the Firehouse Art Center has built a large outdoor courtyard surrounded by pollinator gardens designed entirely with Oklahoma-native plants. This project:
– Provides pollinator habitat at the center of one of our city’s largest parks and a pitstop for monarch butterflies along their migration route.
– Creates an educational tool on our grounds to teach students about the intersection between art and conservation.
– Builds an inviting space that encourages our community to play and create outdoors.

Every year my goal is to get bigger and bigger going forward! I have free range birds – if only I could keep them outta my flower beds

Evergreen Wings is our family’s commitment to restoring native habitat one season at a time. We are transforming Evergreen Pasture into a welcoming refuge for monarch butterflies, bees, birds, and other wildlife by planting native species, improving habitat, participating in conservation programs, and sharing our journey with others. We believe every milkweed planted, every flower that blooms, and every butterfly that visits is a step toward a healthier Oklahoma.
