Monarch butterflies have always been special to me. We used to see so many in our creek when I was growing up. I am a teacher and would love to celebrate monarch butterflies more than we already do.

I’m excited to get involved with monarch and pollinator efforts in the Oklahoma City area!
I’d love to help with habitat restoration, and learn more about creating and caring for pollinator habitats!
I’m also interested in joining the volunteer roster and look forward to helping where I can.

I have 2 spaces in our yard we have transformed to a pollinator habitat. We are working to convert our lawn away from grass, and will be sending in the application for the grant to extend our pollinator/native plant garden another 300+ square feet. We have so enjoyed the amazing and flourishing biodiversity our little slice of land has seen. We are also a part of the yard by yard group.

I recently bought a home and have a little over an acre. I was already wanting to plant native flowers and grasses so this is a perfect opportunity.
