The Sustainability Alliance and the Gathering Place are hosting an event where you will learn about the plants, habitats and relationships that contribute to thriving urban ecosystems. Guest speaker Chris Gabbard will share insights on conservation practices, sustainability efforts and the innerworkings of the web of biota his team curates through plants and placemaking at the park. Visit community booths, enjoy the presentation, and explore the niches of one of USA’s favorite parks. Registration opens at 11:30 am, with presentation and Q&A from noon – 1 pm on October 1st.
