I have just started a backyard garden. I have two species of milkweed which are doing well so far and hope to help a monarch survive. I have much to learn.

I want to plant a Waystation on our farm, but would like help finding native plants!

Shanon Phillips

My flowers and gardens bring me a great deal of joy with their colors and variety. But that joy is enhanced when I see pollinators and other wildlife species enjoying them as well. I’m pledging to add more native species and be more careful about the new things I add when it comes to pesticides that may come with them.

My husband and I planted milkweed in the spring. Our pollinator garden is in the early stages but plants are coming up from seed. My neighbor plants zinnias and last summer they were covered with Monarchs.
