The mayor lives in my housing addition. I will talk to him in person.

I love flowers and butterflies. So, this collaborative is a natural for me. I will do what I can but am limited by age and circumstances. For my garden, the biggest obstacle is finding a gardener who will return regularly. Landscapers are happy to put in a garden, but they dont come back on a regular basis to help with weeding, watering, etc. Having a flower garden means so much to me. With all that you’re trying to accomplish, my issue can’t be a priority, maybe not even on your To Do Someday list. However, if you have access to a list of gardeners for hire in Stillwater I’d love to access it. If you don’t, maybe someday you could have such a list or link on your website.

I love to garden and love seeing Butterflies in them. I have 13 acres with a natural pasture for the insects. I do plant as many native plants as I can find. I have a lot of milkweed and others that Butterflies love.

I’m fully committed to my native Oklahoma pollinator garden. I can’t tell you how much joy it brings me to be helping the Monarchs with milkweed and other sources of nectar to support them on their journey. Both my husband and I have committed to not use pesticides in our little yard.

I collect my native plant seeds and give them away to people to help them start their patch of pollinators for birds, bees, butterflies and other insects.

We are so excited to put in a pollinator waystation at Delmar Gardens in the historic OKC Farmer’s Market District. We will keep y’all posted on our efforts & encourage your network tobe a part of our beautification efforts regarding green space growth. Feel free to reach out to me if you want to get involved. I head the beautification committee as well as serve as district manager.
