Current focus is enhancing the habitat we have currently. For this I am seeking guidance and grants from any source I can find to support this effort. Once that’s been successful, I would consider tagging monarchs to map their journeys. Also would be open to universities, conservation groups, and FFA/ 4H groups to have access for research, photography opportunities and provide more guidance to improve the environment. I think this would be fun to have an expert to guide students through the habitat

I am working and continue to work with our School Monarch Migration garden. I will show students how to take care of our Monarchs and the garden for generations to come.

I will be creating a school garden and planting native flowers species along with milkweed. I will be teaching students how to care for such gardens and caring for it for hopefully years to come.

I’ve been building a large native/pollinator garden for 2 years now with great results. And I keep expanding that garden, plus new beds. I’ve been learning and it’s been a great personal and family experience, but I think I can do more in the community related to this project. This is a first step.
